Essentially, bar tabs should be used as a last option, as they are financially your responsibility.
Ideally, any food or drink ordered from you should be accounted for in one of the following ways:
If you decide to open a bar tab, it is your responsibility to ensure it is paid. If your shift has finished before the tab has been paid, you must inform any other team members.
When starting your shift, check the open tabs and find whoever opened it and identify the guests.
If, at any point in your shift, you are unsure about an open tab (opened by you or someone else), notify the manager on duty. We may be able to rectify it before it becomes a problem.
